How to subscribe to Vatican Phone Cards

The Vatican Telephone Service publishes two issues per year, one in spring, one in autumn.

For each issue subscribers have to calculate € 20.00 plus shipping costs (€ 7.00 for Italy, € 12.00 for Europe, € 18.00 for non-European countries).

Send € 64.00 (€ 76.00 for non-European countries) to subscribe to one copy for each issue (=2 issues/year), € 104.00 (€ 116.00 for non-European countries) to subscribe to two copies, and so on. By sending the money for the subscription, specify which issue you want to start the subscription from. As long as the deposit is sufficient, the new Cards are sent automatically.

Wie kann ich die Telefonwertkarten abonnieren?

Die halbjährlich (Frühjahr, Herbst) erscheinenden Ausgaben der Karten können Sie auch im Abonnement beziehen indem Sie ein Zahlungsdepot eröffnen.

Übermitteln Sie uns die Anzahl der gewünschten Ordner und ihre Kreditkartendaten, einen Scheck oder überweisen Sie uns den entsprechenden Betrag zur Depot Eröffnung. Der Eröffnungsbetrag hängt von der Anzahl der bestellten Ordner (Inhalt 4 Karten) ab und entspricht den Kosten für die Zusendung von zwei Ausgaben pro Jahr.

z.B. für einen Ordner 64€ bzw. 76€ (außerhalb Europas); für zwei Ordner 104€ bzw.  116€ (außerhalb Europas)

Sie erhalten dann automatisch die neuen Ausgaben zugesandt, solange auf dem Depot der notwendige Betrag zur Verfügung steht.

Der Einzug von Ihrer Kreditkarte hingegen ist nicht automatisch!!!

Wir bitten Sie deshalb um die rechtzeitige Autorisierung der Abbuchung vor jedem Versand der neuen Karten. Sie erhalten mit jeder Zusendung der Karten einen aktuellen Auszug Ihres Depotkontos.

Activities

The main areas of activity of the Vatican Telephone Service are:

- engineering, management, maintenance and expansion of the State's telecommunications network and its components (cables, optical fiber, radio links, switching nodes, etc.);

- the management of the Vatican Telephone Exchange - configured as a public exchange with characteristics of Urban Group Stadium and Transit Group Stadium - with particular attention to the continuous hardware and software updating and the routes to the external and internal numbering plan;

- the complete management of internal users, including individual billing, fees and services;

- the management of public telephony within the Vatican State, with its own systems and with the autonomous issue of phone cards;

- engineering, installation and maintenance of switchboards, telephone networks and data transmission networks of various types and sizes within the State and in the extraterritorial areas;

- participation on behalf of the Vatican Governatorato in the activities of international telecommunications organizations (the Vatican has its own international code, 0379, assigned by the ITU - International Telecommunications Union, which is not currently used);

- engineering, installation and maintenance of the Vatican Governatorato's intranet.
